Western League Weekly was founded by managing editor Scott Stephenson, PhD. A lifelong NRL fan who moved to Perth in 2020, Scott's great uncle Lloyd Stephenson played for the North Sydney Bears in the 1940s.
Scott was soon joined by editor-at-large Penelope Gasnier and a top tier team of freelance journalists on both coasts.
